A government job should not be top line
“good,” but instead adequate and steady.
It’s a sign of a labor-commoditized and anemic economy when the private
sector isn’t the attractive engine for “good” jobs.
Once again, for we seem to need reminding, the
productive private sector furnishes the taxes that fund government jobs. If the private sector is weak, which it
structurally is now, that begins to emplace an unsustainable pattern.
Another of the many warning signs all over.
