“Leaders” don’t do anything without “cover”
from their lawyers. While sometimes this
prevents real problems, just as often it does one of two things: 1) justifies
bad decisions; one just has to find enough unethical, uncompassionate lawyers,
or 2) it prevents good decisions, from excessive fear of being sued.
